Covid 19 Update

Update from Kinsale Outdoor Education Centre. Monday May 11th 2020.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you, our valued customers and supporters with an update as to our plan to align with the Irish Governments Roadmap for reopening society and business.

All decisions that we have taken since March and into the future are done so with the safety of our staff and students in mind. We are working closely with Cork Education and Training Board to remain in compliance with all guidelines.

As of now we continue to work remotely from the Centre and whilst we are closed to groups etc at the moment, we are very much open and continuing to plan ahead once we can resume some courses and activities. There is still a large degree of uncertainty around resumption of activities and we have in the last week been consulting with various National Governing Bodies to ascertain how activities will be able to comply with the guidance provided by our Government and the HSE.

There is still some work to be done on this and we anticipate further updates before the end of May.

As of now, we do know, that if permissible our calendar of Summer Camps and Sailing courses will be altered to reduce numbers and focus on the safety and welfare of staff and students alike. We do hope to offer some courses this Summer and we encourage you to email us with your queries on info@kinsaleoutdoors.com

Thank you and stay safe.
