Youth Groups

Choose from a one day introduction to outdoor adventure activities or a longer programme where the students will be introduced to a wide variety of adventure activities. Emphasis is placed on personal and social development as well as the hard skills of the various activities. Canoeing, kayaking, archery, team games, climbing and surfing are just a few of the activities that groups can gain experience in.

This is our flagship program. Started in 2017, the 9 month program takes 12 Teenagers on a program of personal development, skills training and certification and fostering a love for expeditioning. We utilise all of Kinsale's adventure locations across a wide range of sports to build the Young Mariners capacity to become independent, confident and adventurous young people. If yo are interested in taking part or have a teenager at home that might like to take part then droop us a line at the centre. We will hold an open info session in late August 2023 and the next program begins mid September 2023.

Gaisce - Adventure Journey

We have a number of Gaisce PAL Leaders on our staff and we often assist secondary level schools in the provision of Bronze award adventure journeys. Whether it's Land or Sea, we will have the locations, equipment and staff to ensure a safe, achievable and memorable expedition.

Sporting Clubs

With modern work life placing increasing demands on people, we are now increasingly aware of the need for social activities and outings together in the workplace. Why not contact us to discuss your very own teambuilding event for your company or workplace. Kinsale offers the perfect solution, it's close to Cork, easy to get to, lots of accommodation and dining options and couple that with our activity options, you might just have the perfect getaway.

Girl Guides & Scouts

We welcome Cub, Scout, Ventures and Girl Guides groups to either come and make use of our building and facilities or indeed to use our activities to build young peoples capacity and appreciation for the outdoors.
