Young Mariner Program 2020/21

We are now open for enquiries and bookings for our next intake.

The Young Mariner Program is tailored to Young People that have an interest into Outdoor Learning.

In the marine based skills course the students will explore Kinsale's natural environment by Kayak, Sailing & Powerboats and swimming.

The Program highlights the importance of Environmental Awareness and Education through Leave No Trace and Clean Coast to keep our beautiful outdoor learning environment that varies from the local beaches and woodlands clean.

More importantly though, this course is an ideal way for young people to mature as young adults through the medium of Outdoor Education. Working as team, making sound decisions, developing resilience in times of challenge and much more. The feedback we have received on this course over the last few years has been very positive and we look forward to working with a new class for 2020 / 21.

We limit each years course to 14 students and it is ideally suited to Transition year students although not exclusively.

We are hosting an online information evening on Thursday August 27th 2020 at 7:30pm. You can register you interest and get a link to the webinar by emailing info@kinsaleoutdoors.com
