Canoe Sport Instructor & Skills
Here at Kinsale Outdoor Education Centre, we offer all three of the main paddle sports disciplines, Sea Kayaking, Open Canoe and White Water Kayaking. Not only have we a great range of Open Canoes, River & Sea Kayaks but we have highly trained and fully qualified Canoeing Ireland Instructors to cover level 1 to 5 skills awards. We also offer instructor training and expeditions. Our safety courses are particularly popular as we also offer Sit on Top Kayaking for schools, youth and family kayaking.
Finally, we have some fantastic locations to paddle on, tidal estuaries, white water rivers, spectacular coastal scenery and indeed surf kayaking are all within a short drive from the centre. If you want to take you paddling further then give us a call.

The Bandon river both upper and lower sections offer the perfect training ground of you are looking to expand your skills, knowledge and ability in this sometimes risky river environment. We offer all levels of the Canoeing Ireland River Safety & Rescue award.
We specialise in offering high quality training in the Canoeing Ireland Coastal Navigation award. The International Sea Kayak Guide Association have revolutionised sea kayak training systems in recent years. they have gained a reputation for running some of the most innovative safety training and courses are now being run world wide. Canoe Skills
The Lower Bandon River is right on our doorstep and allows us to bring groups, families and indeed Gaisce Bronze Adventure journeys along this fabulous waterway. In particular we love to offer Canoe Camping trips. Equally so we can offer safety, skills and Instructor training in this discipline.
